Is this product vegetarian and vegan-friendly?

NUTRILITE DOUBLE X falls within the definition of “vegetarian” as defined by the European Vegetarian Union. However, since one of the ingredients is lanolin derived from sheep wool, we do not consider it to be vegan-friendly.

What are phytonutrients and why are they important?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends eating 5 helpings of fruits and vegetables per day. However, around 75% of people worldwide do not meet this recommended intake3. Moreover, a varied and balanced diet is important. It is therefore best to eat fruits and vegetables from all five colour groups, since plants contain not only diverse vitamins and minerals but also phytonutrients. Phytonutrients– also referred to as phytochemicals - are organic components found in plants. The term ‘phyto’ originates from a Greek word meaning plant. Does NUTRILITE DOUBLE X contain gluten or lactose?

NUTRILITE DOUBLE X does not contain lactose. Furthermore, the product was tested for gluten and shown to contain less than 20 ppm gluten. This puts it within the EU definition of “gluten-free”.
