For our European Headquarter, based in Puchheim near Portfolio Manager Beauty Europe to ensure optimal performance of the Beauty product portfolio in Area of responsibility:
§ Responsible and accountable for all business and strategic aspects of the Beauty product portfolio and brands, effectively leading the European Beauty Team to achieve brand goals. § Portfolio champion for § Direct support to the Director Portfolio & Brand Management Europe on all relevant business topics. § Coordination and tracking of key Nutrition and Wellness marketing projects and activities. § Responsible for growth and profitability of the European Beauty business. § Responsible for brand building and consistent brand messaging in § Monitoring and analysis of portfolio financials, using findings to actively steer brand business plans. § Develop and ensure team implementation of short-term and long-term marketing strategies for the complete Beauty portfolio in the European region, including launch and discontinuance decisions as well as development of compelling marketing campaigns. § Responsible for financial evaluation of launch projects pre and post launch, including overseeing of business case development for regional launch projects. § Work with European counterparts as well as our headquarters in § Actively demonstrate strong leadership as member of global team, participate in global summits/category planning meetings and ensure European needs are addressed. § Management of portfolio budgets. § Close cooperation with communication department, including development of strategic framework for creative concept briefings for creative agencies on brand level. § Sign-off on creative briefs on project level. § Use market research to understand consumer and distributor needs and to make winning marketing decisions. § Ensure team understanding and pragmatic use of market research. § Development of strategies for information materials and decision papers for internal management meetings and for our business partners. § EDAC Product & Pricing Sub Committee Member. § Chair Beauty European Business Line Team (EBLT). § Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to staff members and provide them with ongoing constructive feedback and recognition. Work experience & skills:
§ Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing, Management), MBA preferred. § Minimum of 7 years brand and product management for a multi-national company. § FMCG background and beauty category experience mandatory, prestige brand experience is an advantage. § Minimum 3 years of people management experience. § Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English and any additional European languages (especially Russian or German) preferred. § Experience with market research projects and external agencies. § A team player, experienced in leading international teams and cross-functional teams. § Experience in working with Americans and Russians is an advantage. § Sound business acumen required, specifically financial skills. § Experience in coaching and staff development. § Proven leadership, negotiation and strategic thinking skills. § Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills. § Understanding and good use of PowerPoint, Excel and Word. § Self-reliant, proactive and highly motivated. § Able to work under pressure and with deadlines. § Ability to travel.
